Registration for the 29th edition (2026-27) opens in November 2026. Local juries meet at the end of March, regional interviews and galas follow in April, and national winners are named in May-June 2027 at a gala in Québec City.

Who can apply

  • Start-up with its head office or main business address in Quebec and majority Quebec ownership
  • First purchase or sale under its Quebec enterprise number (NEQ) before 31 December 2027, and no sales under that number before 1 April 2026 (with some exceptions)
  • Founding team members live in Quebec, are Canadian citizens or permanent residents, and are 18 or over on 10 March 2027
  • Past regional or national category winners of this track cannot apply
  • Stage: idea, pre-seed
