Privacy
A short, specific account of what happens to information about you when you use this site.
Updated
The short version
- There are no accounts, and we do not set cookies.
- We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies.
- Our host keeps server logs, as every web host does.
- If you email us, we use your message to reply and to act on it.
- We do not sell or share information about you, and we do not show advertising.
Hosting and server logs
The site is hosted by Cloudflare. When your browser asks for a page, Cloudflare receives the request, including your IP address, the page address, the time, and what your browser says about itself (its user agent). It uses this to deliver the page and to protect the site from abuse.
Those server logs are kept by our host under its own policies, not by us. Cloudflare’s privacy policy describes how it handles them.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits: which pages are read, how many times, which sites sent visitors here, and broad facts such as country and device type. It does not use cookies, and we look only at the totals, not at individual visits.
Cookies and what stays in your browser
We do not set cookies and there is nothing to sign in to.
The calculators work out results in your browser, and we do not receive or store the figures you type into them. Pages that show application deadlines update their status labels and phrases such as "closes in 12 days" in your browser in the same way, from the dates already on the page.
Email you send us
If you email hello@theincubatorpro.com, your message and email address are handled by our email provider, acting as our data processor. We use them only to reply and to act on what you asked, such as adding or correcting a listing.
We keep email for as long as we need it for that, and for our records of what changed on a listing and why. We do not add you to a mailing list.
Links to programme sites
Listings link to programmes’ own websites and application pages. Those sites are run by the programmes, not by us, and their own privacy policies apply once you are there.
Your rights and how to ask for deletion
You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@theincubatorpro.com. Because there are no accounts, that will usually be email you have sent us. We will reply within one month.
If you are in the UK or the European Union, data protection law gives you these rights, and you may also complain to your data protection authority.
Changes to this page
If what we collect changes, we will update this page before the change takes effect, and the date at the top will change with it.
