Applications close at 5pm Japan time on 18 December 2026. First screening of decks runs January to February 2027; 20 semifinalists are chosen from pitch videos in March 2027. Semifinal 20 May and final 21 May 2027 at Tokyo Big Sight.

Who can apply

  • A new technology or business model with growth potential, and an existing product or service
  • The business fits the theme of sustainable cities through high technology
  • Able to pitch at the venue on both event days and exhibit at a booth on all three days
  • Pitch deck and all materials in English

What founders should check
