Lilly says it can deploy resources, expertise and, in some cases, capital to selected companies. The first site opened in South San Francisco in 2019; there are two South San Francisco sites, plus San Diego, Boston (inside the Lilly Seaport Innovation Center) and Philadelphia, and sites in Shanghai and Beijing.
